Founded in 1932, Brenneman Lumber Company constantly strives to maintain the high quality standards established by A.R. Brenneman.  Currently the fourth and fifth generations of the Brenneman family are active in the operations of the company located in Mount Vernon, Ohio, supplying both green and kiln dried lumber.

Brenneman Lumber company originated in northeast Ohio (Ashtabula County).  The current concentration yard in Mount Vernon was established in 1989.  We have always been a family owned company beginning with A.R. Brenneman, then Roger Brenneman, the third owner was Doug Brenneman Sr, and now Charlie and Doug Jr manage the company.

Appalachian hardwoods are highly regarded for their color and other texture qualities.  In order to provide consistent quality in our lumber, the Brenneman family has maintained good relationships with several sawmill suppliers over the years.
